Help My Father Fight for His Life

Hello, my name is Richard Jr. Sepanton, and I am reaching out with a humble heart to ask for your help in supporting my father, Richard Sepanton, who is currently fighting for his life. He is in the emergency room at De La Salle University Medical Center in the Philippines, undergoing dialysis due to kidney failure.

My father has always been a fighter. He worked as a seafarer for almost 35 years, spending most of his life at sea to provide for our family. I grew up only seeing him for a maximum of 4 months each year, but even with that limited time, his love, sacrifices, and dedication never went unnoticed. Despite the distance, he always made sure that we had everything we needed.

In 2023, my father had to accept that he could no longer continue his work as a seafarer after failing his medical exams. But even after that, he never stopped trying to provide for us. Now, after all his sacrifices, it breaks my heart to see him in so much pain, enduring the physical and emotional toll of dialysis.

I recently moved to Canada in October last year with my Filipino partner. We are still settling in and doing our best to get on our feet, but unfortunately, we are financially unstable at this time. As much as I want to shoulder everything for my father, I am struggling to make ends meet.

This is why I am turning to the kindness of others, hoping to gather support for my father’s hospital expenses, dialysis treatments, and ongoing care. Any amount, no matter how small, will mean the world to us. Your generosity will not only help ease the financial burden but also give my father a fighting chance to continue living the life he so selflessly dedicated to his family.
