Gummybear Foundation

My name is Anton, Frankie, Negroni, and I am the CVO of the Gummybear Foundation .The inspiration for the Gummybear Foundation develop with my last years of teaching. I’ve been a preschool teacher for 17 years and the first part of those years I was teaching special needs students in low income neighborhoods across the city. I love my job and I learned a ton about children with autism, and it helped me get into the field of working in classrooms that were integrated. Integrated classrooms had a high volume of children with autism which allowed me to move into different schools with a skill set most people didn’t have because of my experience. Then I switch tactics for the first time I started working in schools with regular Ed students. The biggest difference was the students families were all wealthy and for the first time I saw the difference in education and the need of the people in my community because of the resources we don’t have and from the help of the parents they allowed me to start a small business called Gummybear Basketball with their children after school. The pandemic adapted it into a foundation that can help a whole community and eventually the world. Teaching in both communities taught me that I have to build a legacy that will last so I created four pillars. Recreation, education mental health and Finacial Literacy. Our four pillars allow us to help the community in every way possible. We create programs and activities that give unique experiences and allow people of all ages to participate. They say it takes a village to raise a child let the Gummybear Foundation be that The Village.
