Allow me to thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything that you have done to help Haiti since the earthquake of 2010. Life is good, but at the same time it is hard. However, there are many people, like you, who still make it good. I don't have the words to tell you how grateful I am for your support. Your cooperation has allowed the FLI to last 5 more years in its existence.

Unfortunately, I am afraid that the FLI is about to come to an end. Not only has the Corona virus complicated the situation, but also we have no money and the lease to the FLI building ends very soon. I didn't pay a separate rent to live with my family because I have been living in the FLI building, watching over it and taking care of it. Unfortunately, now that the lease is about to expire, I cannot renew the lease. I am desperate. I don't know what am I going to do to get a place to live with my beautiful children and wife. I do have one idea. I have a small piece of land on which I would like to build a shelter ( temporary house ). I expect the construction of the shelter will cost about $ 3000. I also hope that soon I can continue building a new FLI building on the land so that I can continue teaching English and providing important services to the people of Jacmel. However, in order for me to do that, I need the starting place of building a shelter on the land. If I don't do this, I will be on the street with my wife and children.
