Hello, I am reaching out to raise funds to support my sister and her family during a significant life event.
On march 19th, my nephew Guillermo ( Memo) suffered a cardiac arrest while at his baseball practice after a pacemaker malfunction. Thanks to the swift response from my sister and the wonderful coaches at the field memo was given CPR and was resuscitated. Guillermo was then rushed to Wesley Medical Center via EMS, then transported to Children's Mercy Hospital that same night. Currently, memo is doing wonderful regaining his strength and memory. However, on March 26 he's schedule for surgery to receive a new pacemaker. This incident has left my sister unable to work and her husband has to take time off to travel back and forth while caring for the rest of the family.
My goal is to alleviate some of their burden so they can fully support my nephew during his recovery. If you're unable to contribute financially, prayers will be greatly appreciated. Anything will help!
