Drive- In for Justice

Hello everyone!


We are excited to introduce you to the  Guilford Racial Equality Project! (GREP). We are a group of young Guilford High School students and graduates. We created this group in the hope of working hard toward creating a more equitable world. Our team members collectively work together to educate our community about the importance of racial equality. We feel that everyone should be treated with complete respect and dignity, despite any physicality's. With your help, we will focus on creating a support system for marginalized groups in the town of Guilford, CT.


With your support and donations, we plan to host a series of events focused on diverse groups and the challenges they face in achieving racial equality within our town. For our first event, we are collaborating with St. George Church in Guilford, CT in hosting a drive-in movie on Monday, August 10th at 8:15 pm. The parking lot will open at 7:30pm. The event is called “Drive-In for Justice” and is dedicated to the Black Lives Matter movement. We will be showing “Just Mercy”, an award-winning black empowerment film. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund. Additionally, all donors will be featured in the informational brochure as sponsors for the event. We sincerely ask that you donate to the Guilford Racial Equality Project, so that we can move forward with future events to bring awareness to our shoreline community.



Ultimately, we seek to continually explore more ways to spread awareness and educate those in our town over this non-partisan issue... racism.
