Support the Guilford Food Hub!
The Guilford Food Hub supports local farmers & helps make local food convenient and affordable for everyone in our community. It's a lot like an online farmers market, with ordering & pickup every other week. All items are grown or produced locally (much of it right here in Guilford) or regionally.
Food is sold at or below cost (no markups or fees). If you pay with SNAP/EBT, you'll get a 50% discount on all produce thanks to NOFA-VT's Crop Cash discount. We also have a pay-what-you-want food shelf open to the community on pickup days with items that are free or by donation.
We need your help. Your voluntary support helps us cover our operating costs. Local food is a community effort! Please give whatever amount you can to help us keep this program running. We’ll need about $7,000 a year to pay for:
- BBCC partnership fee (rent)
- Insurance
- Payment processing fees
- Online Market Platform
- Consumable supplies (bags, etc.)
- Subsidized pay-what-you-want food shelf
Neighborhood Roots Food Collective is a volunteer-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Neighborhood Roots exists to support community members and local farmers in growing the food that we eat, while helping to ensure that all of our neighbors have access to nourishing, locally-produced food. All donations are tax-deductible.
