My name is William Haines, and I am a scout in troop 284, Acton, MA, working on my Eagle Scout service project. The Guggins Brook Conservation Area has many lovely trails, some of which are often flooded. My project is to build a boardwalk over a section of trail that will make the trail usable year-round. I will be organising a group of volunteers in June to construct and install this boardwalk. I am fundraising for the materials and supplies needed to complete the project. All of the work will be done by volunteers. The Guggins Brook Conservation Area is owned by the town of Acton and is open to the public. This boardwalk will greatly benefit the public who frequent the conservation area. I would appreciate donations of any amount towards this project.
