Due to the current situation of COVID-19,  they are left without their basic needs, and have no alternative resources. Many already live on very limited resources and are now facing extremely desperate situations (eviction/no food/no diapers). I am in contact with these families (personally) and will be collecting and distributing funds to those in most need. These are trustworthy,  hard-working,  humble and very decent people I've been friends with for years. I know that they will share what they receive... it's their custom. Please hold this young family in your hearts and prayers. They reached out to me... in desperation, and as a last alternative... seeking assistance. They are street vendors in Panajachel, Guatemala; and survive solely on their sales & tourism. They are now facing eviction, and don't even have enough to feed themselves or diaper their child. There are no further resources availble to them at this time.  Shocking as it seems... I/we are their life line right now. . . I am honored to be someone they trust enough to reach out to. Moreso,  I am overwhelmed by gratitude for being in a position to help, and to have a beautiful and generous network of people who support these efforts. .
