Guatemala Volunteer Trip August 2025 Fundraiser!

Hi friends and family, it's Chantal :) I'm heading to Guatemala this August with the non-profit organization Impact Ministries to help run a summer camp, bring school supplies, work on a building project that supports local families, and support the amazing work the community is achieving there. We'll be working closely with children and communities in Tactic, a rural town in Guatemala, where resources are limited, and I’m incredibly excited to be part of something so meaningful.

This is a trip I've been hoping to join for many years, and I’m so thankful it worked out this time around! I’m especially excited to learn from the families in Guatemala; their resilience, joy, kindness and faith are things I deeply admire and hope to carry with me back home and beyond.

The funds I raise will go toward my flight, in-country expenses, vaccinations, and travel medications (and maybe premium Duolingo so I can practice mi español ). Any remaining funds will support my ongoing volunteer work as a mentor for Indigenous youth back in Vancouver.
