Hi, my name is Karina Borda and I am currently a Student of Physical Therapy attending Dominican University of New York. I am fundraising to participate in a mission trip to Guatemala with fellow students and alumni this April. Hearts in Motion is a non-profit organization that provides different types of medical care to thousands of families dealing with poverty in Central America. It is a chance for volunteers to impact lives through various forms of rehab to help continue the road to recovery for people of all ages.

As a person, I value the efforts Hearts in Motion has provided throughout the years and as a student, I am eager to be part of the positive impact with my fellow peers. I am extremely passionate about my field and learning to become a better future clinician each day has motivated me to show the power of proper rehabilitation. I can confidently say my experience at Dominicans Physical Therapy Program has prepared me to serve with compassion and knowledge.

The donations will go to airfare, transportation, and emergency expenses and the remaining donation towards Hearts in Motion. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I am truly grateful for any donation!!
