Get Damon Home

Hi, my names Ellie and our family are desperately trying to raise money to get my cousin Damon home from Bali. Damon suffers from severe bipolar and on 9th of June, suffered hallucinations that he was being chased by men with guns whilst in Bali. We believe the cause of this was due to him running out of his medication. Unfortunately he stole a refuse truck and was trying to get on a plane to England in his hallucinogenic state. Luckily no one was hurt. When he was stopped, he was beaten severely and has suffered a broken jaw, ribs and ankle. He has not been allowed to communicate with any of his family but they have confirmed he is in a very bad state of health. They blood test him straight away and there was NO drugs or alcohol in his system.

The papers have published the story but of course know nothing about his mental health. This is not a crime, this is an illness!

Damon is clearly very very unwell. They are saying it’s going to be around £80k to try and get him out of this. But for now we are just trying to raise funds to try and get him out of Bali.

This is the reality of mental health! He is one of the nicest men you could meet and we need to get him home to get well. His family have already been through so much this year.
