GT SigRho presents Shave to Save. We are fundraising for SOS Children's Village and the American Cancer Society. Simply donate and choose a team to support!
SOS Children's Village is a nonprofit organization that sends aid to children all around the world particularly in third-world countries. The American Cancer Society is an organization that leads the cancer fight and is dedicated to eliminating cancer. These donations will go towards improving the lives of several children in third world countries, alongside funding cancer research in the fight to eliminate cancer!
If you donate, please specify which team, or organization you are donating towards.
Pictured above are Rishab Verma, Amrit Iyer, Siddhant Singh and Sasikumaran Nandakumar. These four men have volunteered to shave their heads in support of your donation.
The four brothers are divided into two teams, Rishab and Amrit (Team Lyricist) versus Sid and Sasi (Team Reaction). The winning team will be forced to shave their heads. If you choose to donate, please specify which brother you are donating on behalf of.
All proceeds to team team Lyricist will be donated towards SOS' Children's Village, while all proceeds to team Reaction will be donated to the American Cancer Society!
We are also holding customized T-shirt sales to promote this event. If you donate $20 or above, you are eligible to get a free T-shirt. Please fill this form out if you are interested to get one of your own.
We will be shaving the brothers heads at the 5th Street Bridge on April 15th. The shave time is set for approximately 4pm.
Note: If the goal is not met, then only the team with the highest donation amount will shave their heads. On the other hand, if both teams meet their goal then all four brothers will get their heads shaved.
