It's that time of the year again!
The Sigma Chapter of Sigma Beta Rho presents Shave to Save. We are fundraising for SOS Children's Village and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Simply donate and choose a team to support!
SOS Children's Village is a nonprofit organization that sends aid to children all around the world particularly in third-world countries. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is an organization that leads the cancer fight and is dedicated to eliminating cancer. These donations will go towards improving the lives of several children in third world countries, along with assisting in cancer research in the fight to eliminate cancer!
If you donate, please specify which team, or organization you are donating towards.
Pictured above are Venkat Tummala, Rudra Venkatakrishnan, Shan Ali, and Ashwin Rani. These four men have volunteered to shave their heads in support of your donation.
The four brothers are divided into two teams, Venkat & Rudra versus Shan & Ashwin. The winning team will be forced to shave their heads. If you choose to donate, please specify which brother you are donating on behalf of.
All proceeds to team Shan & Ashwin will be donated towards SOS' Children's Village, while all proceeds to team Venkat & Rudra will be donated to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society!
We will be shaving the brothers' heads at the Skiles Walkway on April 11th. The shave time is set for approximately 6:30 PM.
Note: If the goal is not met, then only the team with the highest donation amount will shave their heads. On the other hand, if both teams meet their goal then all four brothers will get their heads shaved.
