Essential items for asylum seekers in London

Hello. I am currently helping out asylum seekers and refugees in my area. Several dozen people have just arrived with nothing. They are being housed in very very basic hotel accommodation locally. They are in desperate and urgent need of essentials - underwear, socks, trousers, shirts, toiletries and phones. They have literally only the clothes they arrived in. I am going shopping today and tomorrow to buy the most urgent items as they are not receiving any support from the Home office and it maybe weeks or months before official assistance is given. I need your help. Please please give whatever you can. I can get a packet of socks for £2 so any amount you can give will help! Very grateful for anything you can donate, it will make a difference immediately for people in urgent need.
