✨ Vamos Levar a Cultura Manjaca, da Guiné Bissau ao Festival Sete Sóis Sete Luas, em Mafra no dia 7 de Setembro de 2025, às 19:00 no Palácio de Mafra.

Eu sou a Sandra Cardoso, e juntamente com o Adelino da Costa, estamos a tentar trazer o PSAP a Mafra- Portugal.

Fomos abençoados com uma oportunidade única: trazer o PSAP – Grupo de Dança Cultural Manjaco, fundado por Adelino da Costa, diretamente da Ilha de Jeta (Guiné-Bissau) até Mafra, para participarem no prestigiado Festival Sete Sóis Sete Luas. Este convite especial foi feito pelo Presidente da Câmara Municipal de Mafra, Hugo Moreira Luís, reconhecendo o valor imensurável da cultura manjaca.

A companhia aérea EuroAtlantic Airways já está a apoiar com um generoso desconto nos voos. No entanto, ainda nos faltam cerca de 10.000€ para conseguirmos concretizar este sonho: pagar os bilhetes de avião dos 23 elementos do grupo e a sua estadia no Grupo Cultural e Desportivo da Lagoa.

Este grupo de jovens artistas, todos eles manjacos da ilha de Jeta, tem dedicado tempo, alma e coração à dança e à preservação da sua cultura ancestral. Levam consigo não só o ritmo e a beleza das suas tradições, mas também a esperança de um povo inteiro. Mostrá-lo na capital do seu país já é motivo de orgulho — fazê-lo em Portugal, num palco internacional, é um sonho quase impossível para quem vem de uma ilha remota e enfrenta tantas dificuldades.

✨ Let’s Bring Manjaco Culture from Guinea Bissau, to the Sete Sóis Sete Luas Festival in Mafra on the 7th of september of 2025 at 19:00, in the Palace.

My name is Sandra Cardoso, and together with Adelino da Costa, we are working to bring the PSAP Cultural Dance Group to Mafra, Portugal.

We’ve been blessed with a unique opportunity: to bring PSAP – the Manjaco Cultural Dance Group, founded by Adelino da Costa, all the way from Jeta Island (Guinea-Bissau) to Mafra, to perform at the prestigious Sete Sóis Sete Luas Festival.

This special invitation was extended by the Mayor of Mafra, Hugo Moreira Luís, in recognition of the immense cultural value of the Manjaco people.

The airline EuroAtlantic Airways has already shown great support by offering a generous discount on the flight tickets. However, we still need to raise around €10,000 to make this dream a reality: to cover the flights for the 23 group members and their accommodation at the Grupo Cultural e Desportivo da Lagoa.

This group of young artists, all of them Manjacos from the island of Jeta, have poured their time, soul, and heart into dance and the preservation of their ancestral culture. They carry with them not only the rhythm and beauty of their traditions, but also the hope of an entire people.

To showcase their talent in the capital of their own country is already a source of pride — but to do so in Portugal, on an international stage, feels like an almost impossible dream for those coming from a remote island and facing many hardships.

We need your help to make this dream come true.
