Grow Local: Mustache for a Cause
Donation protected
Hi everyone! This November, I’m sporting a mustache, not just for style points, but to support two amazing local organizations.
The first, Chai Hopes, is an organization that my wonderful wife is involved in. They knit & crochet blankets and hats for children and cancer patients at our local hospital. They also sell handmade items to donate money to that same hospital. I’ll be donating the money to fund yarn for their handmade goods.
In the spirit of ‘Movember’, the second organization is a men’s group where the funds will be used host an event to bridge the gap between older and younger generations. The loneliness epidemic is a growing problem in the US, and my goal with the funds is to spur engagement in local community events and connect folks of all ages.
I believe that the best way to make an impact is right here in your local community. My mustache won’t change the world, but at the very least it might raise a few eyebrows and dollars in the process!
