Help Us Grow a Garden for the children of Great Ayton Discovery Centre!

We're starting a special project to help children learn about nature, responsibility, and healthy eating by growing their very own garden! To make this dream a reality, we're kindly asking for donations of garden tools and materials such as:

Child-sized gardening tools (plus adult ones so they can help)

Seeds (vegetables, herbs, flowers)

Soil and compost

Planters or raised beds

Watering cans and gloves

Mulch, trellises, or other garden supplies

Every little bit helps, and your support will plant the seeds for a lifelong love of nature and learning. If you’d like to donate please see the GoFundMe and if you would like to get involved, please contact Mel or Wendy at GADC or simply drop off anything you can donate.

The garden will be located in the GADC car park, although we will use any spare space we have around the centre. We will send out more details of how it will work as well as the events we will create.

Thank you for helping our garden—and our children—grow!
