GROUNDED Printshop

GROUNDED Printshop is currently raising money to acquire the necessary tools needed to build a fully functioning print and papermaking shop.

At this time we are trying to raise 25,000 dollars. The things we need include, but are not limited to, an etching press, a Riso printer, ink, materials to build out a light table, an aquatint box + a print dryer; a washout booth, brayers, chemical waste bins + RENT. 

We are an interdisciplinary, contemporary print and paper making shop located in Erie’s Little Italy neighborhood. GROUNDED lives in a 4,400 sq/ft warehouse space. With the gift of these funds, we will be able to provide access to a range of different resources such as classes and contract printing, papermaking, letterpress, etching, dye cutting, silkscreen, memberships, residencies + paper recycling.

With this support, we can reach our goal: To offer a safe, creative and collaborative space for a broad demographic of individuals regardless of their experience, creed, gender, or race (with that being in no particular order); Be it the individual practicing artist or the community at large, we hope to build upon Erie's rich community and history while also being an active participant in the conversation.
