At Pediatric Wellness Group, we know children thrive when they’re connected to nature. One of the most powerful ways to support the body is through grounding - direct contact with the earth’s natural energy that helps regulate inflammation, stress, and overall wellness.

Here in Indiana, long winters make grounding nearly impossible for much of the year. That’s why we’re creating a nature-based indoor playground that makes grounding possible in every season.

The space will include grounding mats that work like outdoor earth contact, topped with live moss flooring, and all-natural play structures designed to spark curiosity and calm. More than a playground, it will be a year-round wellness space where children can restore balance, build resilience, and play in ways that truly support their health.

This project reflects our mission at Pediatric Wellness Group: to care for the whole child - mind, body, and spirit - by blending innovative, holistic approaches with the simple, healing power of nature.
