Groton Pump Track!
Tax deductible
Dear Friends,
To those of you that have previously donated to the pump track – a grateful THANK YOU!
To date, Bike Groton has raised $80,000! The Town’s contribution is also $80,000. We are however, $15,000 short of the contracted cost of $175,000.
The remaining $15,000 will cover the cost of a perimeter fence and landscaping. A generous benefactor has offered to match all donations up to $7,500 to meet our goal!
On behalf of Bike Groton, I would like to warmly invite you to attend the groundbreaking event for Groton’s new bicycle pump track, an exciting addition to our community’s recreation spaces, on June 12, 2025 at 6pm.
Located in the Poquonnock River Walkway Park on Depot Road, this project will offer a fun and challenging facility for riders of all ages. The pump track was partially funded through the efforts of Bike Groton and funding from the Town of Groton, and we’re thrilled to celebrate this community-driven initiative coming to life.
