GROOTS T&T is an inclusive NGO that operates a Psychosocial and Counselling Centre offering services in areas of: Domestic & Gender Based Violence, Transition Housing, HIV & AIDS, SRHR, Mental Health Issues and rural grassroots women's empowerment
This organization is near and dear to my heart so I was completely crushed upon learning that they are to vacate the building they are currently occupying. This location is the heartbeat of their operations and many depend on the services they provide. The funds raised from this "Shelter Us" Initiative will help to give GROOTS T&T their forever home, a place that they can call their own.
A location has been found! It is ideal and will suit the needs of GROOTS T&T for years to come, however, it must be secured by 20th October 2020.
