Grooming of the Rideau Winter Trail

THIS FUNDRAISER HAS NOW CLOSED AND A NEW ONE HAS LAUNCHED FOR THE 2024 SEASON.

The free Rideau Winter Trail is back for season three! This volunteer-run trail runs along the banks of the beautiful Rideau River, with some fun groomed loops around the Hurdman hills. We groom from Donald Street (by the Rideau Sports Centre) to Bank Street.

Regular grooming of the trail costs money. These costs include:

Insurance

Gasoline

Repairs, Maintenance, Parts

and Equipment Replacement (our oldest ATV is from 2015)

Our goal is to bring you the best conditions possible so you can ski, snowshoe, walk and cycle through the winter months and enjoy the great outdoors that are accessible by foot and public transport in our beautiful city.
