With the ongoing government shutdown, many families in Moore, Oklahoma City, and around Tinker Air Force Base are facing the real threat of losing access to essential food benefits like SNAP and WIC. As someone who cares deeply about our community, I’ve seen how quickly food insecurity can become a crisis when these programs are disrupted.
