Grieving kids

Donation protected
Hello and thank you for reading this. Two of my best friends are married and they have two children; a teenage daughter, and a pre-teen son. I have known both of their kids since they were babies and I have a vested interest in their health, mental health and overall well being.
In early February of this year, trauma unexpectedly fell on their family, and these two children lost their dad. This new ‘family-of-three’ are all experiencing the significant grief that comes from the loss of a loved one, and they are understandably struggling on every possible level. Although grief stricken and devastated, Mom has already set all three of them up for receiving outside treatment to help them cope with their grief but their lives have been permanently altered by this trauma.
For being new to single-parenthood, Mom is a rock star as a beacon of light for her babies, but she is also exhausted and struggling.
It’s been a month now, and because of this devastation, the family has lost their main provider, who contributed approximately 70% to the household income. Mom has already made drastic cuts in the family budget, but it’s still not enough.
From a trauma informed perspective, this would be the worst time for the kids to undergo any more life-altering changes like moving away and changing schools, but Mom doesn’t have a lot of options at the moment, and this is just month # 1... If anyone has undergone grief and loss, you know how even the simplest tasks can feel like climbing mountains.
After only a week of being back to work, Mom already started looking for side jobs and part time work on top of her 40-hour workweek to try and offset the bills. I am currently asking for any donations to help this family with paying the bills for a few months until this family adjusts to their new life.
For the time being, the most important thing for Mom and the kids is to remain in their home and stay in their school district. Any little bit helps and I appreciate any attempt to help these kids retain as much familiarity and normalcy in their lives as possible, right now.
With equal parts respecting the kids’ privacy, and also protecting them, I won’t go into specific details regarding the actual trauma of their loss; I hope everyone can understand and respect that. On that same note, I was glad to find a picture of them that I could use that doesn’t explicitly identify them, but is also pretty relevant in how they are feeling right now; with an ocean of troubles in front of them and no life jackets. If there is anything that you can give, thank you. If you cannot give,  please just share this.
Again, from the bottom of my heart, thank you.
