Hi I’m Kaytlyn (amber) and I’m making this fundraiser to help me and my sister with the cost of Care, memorial services, and getting back on our feet after he passes.

My father was diagnosed with glioblastoma wild type 4 last June. He held off getting care for a month or two because he was caring for our grandfather at the time who had spinal cancer that spread. Shortly after my grandfather passed he got his first resection of the 1 millimeter tumor we thought this is it we could be in the clear. We did everything your supposed to do the radiation and the chemo but then the scans showed it came back. This time it was bigger, 5 millimeters. We went through another resection. We thought “2 resection this could be it, we have more time!” We heard so many stories of survivors getting 10 years after their diagnoses but shortly after we learned we weren’t so lucky. Once again the tumors back this time it grew to 8 millimeters. We had seen doctors in Chico and his second resection was done at uc Davis as well as the rest of his care. After a year of trying to manage his cancer he’s now been put on hospice, we honestly didn’t think we would even get this much time with him after his diagnosis but for that we are thankful. Yet now we find ourselves struggling to get the help and care he needs I work full time and my sister has two jobs yet we still find ourselves struggling to find the funds for his care and his funeral services. This man has cared for me and my sister our whole lives and we just want to be able to give him the best care he can have for the time he has left.
