I recently heard this story  about the 545 children who have still not been reunited with their families and was absolutely heart broken to think what these children and their families must be going through. A part of me wanted to stop everything and physically go start looking for people. Probably not the smartest or most efficient move. 

So I’m doing this instead or for now. On December 27, I will be running a 50k trail run (the length of the American River Parkway) in honor of these 545 children. By sharing this, I hope to bring awareness to this issue and raise money for the ACLU who is fighting in the courts and the streets to help reunite these families.
