Gregory Gardens Elementary School Annual Read-A-Thon

October 11th through October 22nd.
 
What is a Read-A-Thon? Our students ask friends, family, and neighbors to pledge their support for amount of time spent reading, or a one-time donation. Our students spend two weeks reading as much as they can! At the end of the two weeks we tally up the reading logs and donation sheets. All proceeds go to Gregory Gardens Elementary.

Prizes are awarded to:

-The class with the highest number of minutes
-The student who raises the most funds
-The student in each class with the highest number of minutes.
 
How do I get started? Check backpacks for the Read-A-Thon Packet we sent home on October 8, or find a copy here .
Beginning October 11th, students can start tracking reading time each day. The final day to track time is October 22nd.
 
How do I sponsor a student? Pick a student and pledge an amount based on time spent, or make a one-time donation. One-time donations may be submitted at any time. All donations are due by October 29th.
Payments can be made in cash, checks, or online via this website (preferred).
 
How do I turn in the form? Please hand in Readathon forms to your teacher by October 8th.

Checks should be made payable to: GG PTA and handed in or mailed to the school office: Attn PTA Readathon, 1 Corritone Ct, Pleasant Hill, CA 94523. Please note the name of the student you are sponsoring and their teacher so we can easily match up the funds.
