In Loving Memory of Greg Monroe

It is with heavy hearts that we share the devastating news that Greg Monroe passed away on 6th June 2025, after an incredibly courageous six year battle with cancer.

Greg’s fight was nothing short of heroic, he never lost his love, charisma and sense of humour even through the tough times.

Through unimaginable pain and exhaustion, he held on to witness the milestones that meant everything to him, marrying the love of his life Jodi, meeting his 4th grandchild Harper and one on the way - Due this month. Walking his daughter Tamika down the aisle to the love of her life Corey, watching his son Greggory and watching his son Kyron grow into a strong, kind young man, proudly following in his father’s footsteps. Family and friends were at the very heart of Greg’s world.

His presence, warmth, and compassion touched so many, and the memories created will remain a gift to everyone privileged enough to have known him.

I’ve had the honour of knowing Greg and the Monroe family for almost 20 years. Their kindness, love and willingness to show up for others is unmatched. Now, it’s our turn to give back to a family who would do anything for those around them.

This GoFundMe has been created to support the family as they navigate the heartbreaking the loss of Greg, by helping ease the financial burden of this loss, and allowing them the space and time to grieve without added stress.

His Wife Jodi has no idea about this as she would never ask anyone for anything, no matter how difficult and that is just the kind of woman she is.

Greg gave his all to the people he loved. Let’s honour that love by standing with his family now.
