Greg and Mary Cooke house fire

My name is Jimmy Jones and I am trying to help a family friend. On 03/22/24 Greg and Mary Cooke went through a tragedy that we all dread. Their home was almost a total loss due to a house fire. The fire started on the back porch and quickly moved inside the house and into the second floor. Mary was at home when the fire started and was able to get out of the house safely.

Houston County and Perry Fire Departments responded and worked hard and was able to save some of the first floor. Unfortunately the entire second floor was lost due to the fire. A majority of the first floor was damaged due to the fire/smoke/water damage.

Greg and Mary have a long road ahead of rebuilding their home and replacing all of the items they have lost.

I am putting this go fund me together to help them with the enormous cost that is associated with what they are going through. In addition to the cost of replacing most of their material possessions, there will be a big cost for placement of their animals as they go through this process. Anyone who knows Greg and Mary, know that they are animal lovers and have several.

I have known Greg and Mary for about thirty years and you will not find better people willing to help when someone else is in need. They are in need of some help. Any little bit helps. Even if a you’re not able to give monetarily, a prayer that this process goes as smooth as possible will go a long way. Thank you!
