Random Acts of Kindness and Closure for the Living
Donation protected
Hey Everyone! My name is Scott Greenhut. I became the last person living in my immediate family by age 33. My mom, Harriet, passed away from what started as Breast Cancer when I was 12 years old. She was 44. My dad, Gordon, passed away after being on Dialysis for 7 years in August 2017. He was 62. And my sister, Melissa, passed away after her 8-year battle with Ocular Melanoma on February 1, 2019. She was only 37 years old.
Before the pandemic, I was starting my journey as an Inspirational Speaker. All I want to do is share mine and my late family's story and help others along the way. I want YOU to #PleaseJustStart that thing you constantly think about, so you can live your life with no regrets!
The "Greenhut Family Fund" is excited to continue doing *Random Acts of Kindness* and adding *Closure for the Living/Dying*
I want to help facilitate family members to be able to have closure with someone in their immediate family before they pass away from Breast Cancer, being on Dialysis, and/or Ocular Melanoma.
There's no way I would still be here if I didn't have the closure I was fortunate to have with my dad, Gordon, before he stopped Dialysis to pass away. I want to make sure I can help put people in the best possible position moving forward after a death to an immediate family member.
Please do not feel obligated to give, but if you would like to, I just want to be transparent that 100% of these funds will be used for flights and hotels when needed to help facilitate this cause.
I decided to set up the *Greenhut Family Fund* this way, since it's just me left in my immediate family. I don't want to have to go through "red tape" in order to do something positive in memory of my late mom, dad, and sister. I just want to help others in their memory!
Waking up on a daily basis without my mom, dad, and sister is extremely hard, but I'm grateful knowing I can help give people the opportunity to have the closure I was able to have with both my dad and sister, as they passed away nine days shy of a year and a half from each other.
If you know someone who would benefit from this, please don't hesitate to reach out to me.
I'm ready to get to work.
