Greenhouse at Matipwili Secondary School

Hi! Our names are Joey and Charlotte, and we are juniors in high school in New York. We are fundraising for the construction of a greenhouse on school grounds of a middle school in Tanzania. This July, we will be spending two weeks at Kisampa Conservancy, where we will be helping to build a greenhouse alongside the students at Matipwili Secondary School. We are so lucky to get to work with The Living Machine on this project, their growhouses offer a self-sufficient method of growing vegetables and the opportunity of a healthier life for the community. Not only will this greenhouse be providing supplementary meals for the kids and food security, but we will be teaching the students about the importance of good nutrition and how to develop and maintain healthy eating habits.
