Greene Commons Group is raising support for an important new community facility at Greene Commons, a place that has become a true gathering space for Greene County. Throughout the year, Greene Commons brings neighbors together for the Farmers Market, Sunsets on Main, community celebrations, and other local events that help people connect. As the Commons has grown, so has the need for better infrastructure to serve everyone who visits. This project was inspired by a simple but important need: replacing temporary portable toilets with clean, convenient, permanent restrooms and creating secure storage for the items that help community events run smoothly.

Funds from this fundraiser will help cover construction costs for a new ADA-accessible building that will include three exterior-access restrooms, two secure storage rooms, and a full-length covered porch designed to complement the existing pavilion. The facility will also provide storage space for tables and chairs that community members can use when renting the space. Grant funding and Tourism funds have already helped move this project forward, but community support is still needed to bring it across the finish line. Every gift, no matter the size, will help create a lasting resource for families, vendors, visitors, and everyone who enjoys Greene Commons.
