Green Family Assistance Fund

Eddie- An Amazing Father, Father-In-Law, Grandpa, Brother, and Friend. A man who keeps us all laughing, on our toes, and loved beyond belief. The man, who is always there when we need him, needs us.

Eddie was in a severe motorcycle accident on August 14th. After emergency surgery, he spent time in the Trama ICU at Erie Community Medical Center to remove his spleen and re-attach his hip muscle. He is currently out of the TICU and in a regular room at ECMC, recovering from a list of injuries resulting from the accident.

Although his recovery road is long, He has taken giant steps forward every day, and we are so excited and proud to see all the progress he has made!

While he has been down, life didn’t stop, bills still have been sent, and daily travel expenses to the hospital are looming. Eddie is never one to ask for help when it is needed, as his stubborn gene is strong. We, as his family, would appreciate anything anyone is willing to give to help make his transition home seamless and stress-free. Well wishes, smiles, prayers, and meals have held us together through this difficult time. Many hands make light work, and miracles happen. We couldn’t be more incredibly grateful for everything thus far.

We ask, if you feel kind and are capable, to please donate any amount of money to the Green Family to help us put all of our focus on Dad at home to make his recovery smooth and with family right next to him the entire way! We were not planning on doing a GoFundMe as the Greens have never been one's to take handouts. Fortunately, Dad was able to take his first steps today at ECMC on his own, and we hope to bring him home soon!
