We're raising money to bring down capitalism before it destroys the earth. End of. Apparently it's actually quite expensive.
To show resistance to the ecocide being committed by the capitalist class and supported by many in Parliament, we are planning a Week of Action! Every day for a week in February (24/02–02/03) we will be organising events and protests to let the leaders and the people of this country know that we are here to fight for the survival of our planet by facing capitalism head on.
From reclaiming unoccupied buildings for our communities, organising workshops and social events to raise awareness and encourage self-reliance, to reclaiming public space for nature by guerilla gardening, and being loud and clear about our rage against profit-making by stockbrokers and their like at the expense of our planet and fellow humans!
In light of our Week of Action coming close and the unfortunate reality we still in live in a world where we need money to buy stuff and do things, we are asking you to help us make our week of action that little bit easier to pull together by giving us the funds to do it.
The Green Anti-Capitalist Front is an alliance of groups and individuals united by a belief that capitalism is one of the core causes of the environmental crisis threatening us all, and that if we do not act soon the costs of that crisis will fall on the poor and powerless.
In the fact of this crisis, the governments of the world seem more interested in propping up capitalist profits than preventing disaster, so we also believe that a disruptive campaign of direct action will be needed to prevent ongoing environmental destruction and prevent those who profit from this destruction from shifting the costs on the working class.
