GREELY CONVENIENCE STORE ROBBERY

Hello dear Greely community! As you may all have seen already, unfortunately the Greely convenience store located on meadow drive in Greely has been robbed this morning at 3:20AM . The thief's have gotten away with thousands of dollars and also have caused a lot of damages to the store . As you all know , Gurpreet the owner is such a kind soul that has done so much for the community and also created a foodbank cupboard to support the community in these tough times in this economy. No store owner deserves to go through this , and especially one that gives out as much as he can for the community. Unfortunately he is at loss in thousands as they targeted tobacco, OLG scratch tickets and ran away with the heavy cash drawer which was hard wired into the POS. He has contacted insurance and they say he can put in a claim but that leads to hike in his insurance premium by 30% and makes the Greely area categorized into high risk and an increase in premium for other commercial units in the future. I'm reaching out to the community to try and raise as much as we can for this kind soul that does so much for our community. Hoping we can all get together and try to raise enough to at least cover the loss and damages that were done by these heartless thief's. Even if it's only a few bucks , anything truly helps !
