Continue to donate $10 a month, help the payment balance of CEQA lawsuits that have stopped marijuana facilities and support the work on citizen Initiative to ban all commercial marijuana activities in El Monte, protecting residents of the whole San Gabriel Valley.

Last year, El Monte City permitted marijuana cultivation, production and trade in all industrial zones, commercial zones and office zones.  For the past 9 months, San Gabriel Valley local and surrounding residents have opposed the marijuana projects approved by El Monte city by protests, referendums and CEQA lawsuits.

GreatLACA volunteers have employed an experienced law firm to help the referendums and filed CEQA lawsuits. Now all 5 marijuana project applicants have rescinded their project approvals! This is a great first step and encouraging! Let's keep it up until a law is created to ban all commercial marijuana activities!
