Great Scottish Run: Glasgow Times and friends for NSPCC
Hello, we are a team of Glasgow Times (current and former) colleagues, joined by our friends from The National and The Herald. Together, we are taking on The Great Scottish Run on October 6. A mix of experienced runners and beginners, we are challenging ourselves to complete the 10k or the half marathon - or both.
Working in the media, we see the great work volunteers do every day. Now it's our time to get involved!
We are raising money for the NSPCC, a charity supporting vulnerable children across Scotland.
They run hubs for victims of abuse, operate helplines for kids at risk, go to schools to talk about safety and much more. Their Glasgow base is on Templeton Street, where they also help families care for their children.
This is an issue close to our hearts so please, join us in raising money for this wonderful organisation, all donations are appreciated!
