Great North Run for Pride By The Harbourside

REUBEN COOMBS is running in the Great North Run in September to help raise funds for Northern Equality and Diversity cic to help stage this seasons annual PRIDE BY THE HARBOURSIDE event on August 16th. Although our event occurs in August , a lot of our costs are paid during September and October so this fundraising will make a huge difference to the scale of event we stage this year. Thankyou Reuben Coombs for being such a great ally !!

The world is becoming a troubled place once more for people in minority communities , with the UK dropping 21 places this year in the safe countries list and America reversing all it's Diversity policies and attacking Trans rights.

Reuben is an ally of the LGBT community and wishes to show his support and give visibility to people who do not share equal rights and get harassed and victimised purely because of their identity or sexual preference.

Please support him in bringing colour and vibrancy to the Great North Run as he proudly runs wearing a Pride vest and actively engages in conversations to help change people's minds from hate to love for minority groups.

Every little helps. 500 pounds will make a huge difference to this year's organising team who are all volunteers.
