I am running in the Great North Run
Sep 25’ for the Anthony Nolan charity.
Why I'm doing this...
Back in the summer of last year my aunty Kathryn Hearn - was diagnosed with Acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), an aggressive blood cancer . Just a few months before diagnosis she was scaling peaks in the Lake District. It’s safe to say that this sudden change has rocked our family and Kathryn has battled every step of the way.
My aunty has always been a source of inspiration to me. She is an artist - a celebrated ceramicist and lecturer at Central St Martins College of Art and Design. Her work has inspired me over the years, but more so her outlook on life. Her ability to continually see the good in people. It's her superpower.

I say with a heavy heart, that Kathryn lost her fight yesterday. I am running this race in her memory. All money raised will be split between the Anthony Nolan (Leukaemia) Charity and the family. All help is hugely appreciated.
