Our Mission

We’re Sandie & Danny – and we’re going  to turn a 1999 Honda Civic into Greased Frightening!

This summer, we’re driving this unloved relic across Europe with no air-conditioning, battling the scorching heat. Hopefully we will travel over 2500 miles and also drive through 5 countries in one day  — all to raise money for a truly incredible cause: Help of Marina Alta, a dedicated charity providing vital support to those in need across the region. Every mile we drive, every challenge we conquer, and every border we cross will help fund a wide range of services offered by the charity.

But wait, there’s more…

We’re also filming spoof scenes from the movie Grease – yes, us and the team at BayMedia reimagining iconic moments, awkward dance moves and all, in true DIY fashion. And trust us: this part is more daunting than the drive itself.

We’ve never done anything like this before. It’s bold, it’s bonkers, and it’s going to push us completely out of our comfort zones – both behind the wheel and in front of the camera.

The Grand Adventure

Prologue (Days -3 - 1)

Javea, Spain - Lille, France : 1000 miles

Three day dash to the start line in Lille

Main Event (Days 1-5)

Wacky Rally : 1,250 miles

Five countries, Alpine passes, daily surprise challengers and hopefully a triumphant finish in Barcelona

Final (Days 6-8)

Barcelona - Javea : 350 miles

Victory cruise down the Mediterranean coast to complete our 2,600+ mile odyssey

Why We’re Doing It

Every kilometre we drive supports the vital work of Help of Marina Alta, a local charity dedicated to helping those in need across the region — including flood victims in Valencia. The charity is currently providing urgent assistance to families affected by the devastating floods, while continuing its day-to-day support services for the wider community. Your donation will help fund:

* Emergency aid for flood victims, including shelter, supplies, and recovery support

* Neighbourly assistance for the ill, disabled, or housebound

* Short-term access to essential medical and home nursing equipment

* Interpreter services and a "HELP" desk at Denia Hospital

* Respite for carers looking after loved ones

* Ongoing advice, guidance, and compassionate support for individuals in difficult situations

Together, we can make a lasting difference for both those affected by crisis and those who rely on ongoing community support.
