Remembering those who served. Supporting veterans who need us today.

This Remembrance Sunday, we’re bringing the Greasbrough community together to honour those who served, remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice and raise funds for Help 4 Homeless Veterans.

Almost 2,000 people joined us last year, showing just how much remembrance means to our community. For Greasbrough Remembers 2026, we want that support to make a lasting difference beyond the day itself.

Why we’re fundraising

No veteran should have to face homelessness. While we remember the sacrifices made by members of our Armed Forces, we also want to support those who are struggling today.

The money raised through this fundraiser will support Help 4 Homeless Veterans, helping the charity continue its work supporting veterans facing homelessness.

Join us on Sunday 8 November 2026

Proudly supported by KCM Waste Management and Spartan Site Solutions, our event begins at St Mary’s Church, Greasbrough, S61 4DX:

* 9:45am: Arrival
* 10:00am: Church service
* 10:40am: Veterans’ march
* 11:00am: Remembrance service
* 1:00pm: The Daisy Belles and a free hog roast at Greasbrough Club

Everyone is welcome, and all veterans are warmly invited to join the march. The event is free to attend, with donations gratefully received.

How you can help

Whether you can give £5, £10 or another amount, every donation will contribute to our community’s fundraising for Help 4 Homeless Veterans.

Local businesses can also sponsor a personalised remembrance poppy for £100, displayed as part of our community tribute. Poppies can feature your business name and be dedicated in memory of a loved one or in honour of those who served.

For sponsorship enquiries, please contact [email redacted].

If you’re unable to donate, sharing this page with friends, family and colleagues will help us reach more people.

Thank you for helping us honour their memory and support veterans who need our help today.

Lest we forget.❤️
