Hello everyone. It’s never easy to ask for help, but we are in a situation where we could really use some support. Early Friday morning my daughter Meghan’s house caught fire and caused far more damage than initially expected. By the grace of God, her neighbor took his dog out to use the restroom which was not normal. The dog, a German Shepherd named Czar having to go potty allowed that neighbor to spot the flames and come to the rescue. He pounded on the door right below the fire and the windows yelling FIRE. Meghan’s dog Izzie heard him and started barking like crazy. She wouldn’t not calm down or stop. Thankfully they then heard the neighbor yelling. They grabbed clothes and shoes and their pets and got out safely with ash falling on them. We are extremely thankful for that neighbor and the two real hero’s, Czar and Izzie, because there was no smell of smoke or alarms going off at that time. The greatest damage was to the nursery, of all places. For those not aware, Meghan is 28 weeks pregnant. We were to have her shower there in 2 weeks. My heart is breaking for her to have to go through this right now. But, everyone is safe including all of the pets and that is everything right there! Tonight we are thankful for Gods grace and intervention, we’re thankful for a neighbor who intervened and called 911, for two amazing doggies and their keen instincts. And we would be forever grateful to anyone who is able to help out in any way! Please keep us in your prayers or send positive vibes and good will. This will be a longer road than we’d like.
