Grassy Narrows Showcase Pow Wow Fundraiser

The Pow Wow Dancer Showcase is an annual celebration of Anishinaabe culture, showcasing the beauty of our dancers and the significance of each regalia. This gathering not only honors our traditions but also inspires our youth, encouraging them to take pride in their identity and step into the pow wow circle. Through song, dance, and community, pow wows help reclaim what was once lost, ensuring our culture thrives for generations to come. Supporting these events is a meaningful and practical step toward reconciliation, fostering understanding and respect for Indigenous ways of life.

Grassy Narrows is looking for donations to raise $35,000 to run the Pow Wow. This budget includes prizes for dancers, drummers and singers, catering, and other supplies.

This GoFundMe is managed by Jenny Coles, who has been part of the team organizing River Runs for Grassy Narrows since 2023 in support of Grassy Narrows. All funds raised will be spent on the Grassy Narrows Showcase Pow Wow.
