Peace and Blessings! My name is Haydee, I started my organic urban backyard garden in September of 2020. Last year was life-changing for everyone, and as an avid juicer, I was inspired to grow my own produce for many reasons.
In many urban communities, it is difficult to find organic produce and health food stores but easy to find fast food and liquor stores. I have to drive outside of my town to find organic produce and I'm grateful to have the privilege of doing that but many people are not afforded that opportunity. Something needs to be done to make it easier for everyone to have access to organic living foods.
My ultimate goal is to start a nonprofit organization that provides free organic produce, juice, health foods, and recipes to communities that lack adequate resources. I would also love to start community gardens and teach people how to grow their own food.
I am actively seeking to partner up with farmers and community centers to get this mission going. I am also selling organic ginger turmeric shots to help raise money for the cause and I'm overjoyed that I can help people with their health and well-being. The juicer I currently have is wonderful as has gotten me this far but I must do more in order for these grassroots goals to become reality.
The money I am raising now will go towards a commercial-grade juicer to facilitate these efforts. (link to juicer below) Health and health education is wealth. Having access to organic produce and being able to grow your own food is life-changing.
