Help My Mom Fulfill Her Last Wish

As many of you know, my mom was diagnosed with lung cancer about five years ago. She fought so hard and overcame so much, but earlier this year, in February, we received devastating news — the cancer had returned, this time in her brain.

She underwent a procedure to remove as much of the large mass as possible and began radiation. The original plan was for her to complete four rounds of chemotherapy and immunotherapy, followed by two years of maintenance treatments. At that point, no one had said anything about a life expectancy.

Unfortunately, her body has been through so much. The treatments have taken a serious toll on her organs and overall health. She’s been in and out of the ER and admitted to the hospital multiple times, unable to complete her treatment plan.

Just a few days ago, she was admitted again. This time, a different oncologist gave us heartbreaking news — with her current diagnosis, her life expectancy is about 14 months from February, which means she now has less than a year to live.

One of my mom’s biggest wishes is to go on a cruise — something she’s always dreamed of but has never been able to do. We are hoping to raise money to make this happen for her, to give her something joyful and unforgettable in the time she has left.

I’m not great at asking for help, but I know that we can’t make this happen alone. For those who donated before, your kindness helped cover her bills when she was unable to work, and we are forever grateful.
