When I was 10 years old I was unfortunate to have developed a brain tumour and post-surgery I was very sick for 6 months. Being in and out of the hospital and having gone through a very tough time for me and my family, Southampton Hospital put me forward to Make-A-Wish, which was accepted.

Me and my family were very lucky and my wish was granted to go to Lapland to visit and spend much-needed family time. 20 years later I have been very lucky to have recovered and restored to full health and because of this, I want to fulfil my duties and "pay" back Make-A-Wish to help give another child an unforgettable experience to spend time with their family.
