Hi everyone! My name is Isabella Anderson, and I am working with Eric Whisler II, Gabe Carpenter, Tianna Jonas, and Kyle Thrush. We will be raising money for a cause that means a lot to us.
We are students at Indiana Wesleyan University. This semester, we are working on a project for Dr. Niemen's management class where we partner with the Grant County Rescue Mission. Living in Grant County for most of the year, we are excited to partner with the Mission in any way we can. We are looking to share this opportunity with different churches in the Marion area and post it on social media to help get as much attention as possible. For this project, we are going to be using the four functions of the management process: planning, organizing, leading, and controlling, to earn funds for the Grant Co. Rescue Mission.
Grant County Rescue Mission Inc: Faith Brought to the Streets
The Mission’s purpose is to see lives changed through the power of Jesus Christ. Grant County Rescue Mission works to address some of the underlying problems of homelessness, such as: substance abuse, incomplete education, inadequate skills, and therapy through a biblical perspective. The Mission works with both men and women. They host a 30-day shelter but offer a longer housing option if needed. They offer work positions to make money to get back into the world.
Every contribution, big or small, makes a real impact. Even just a few dollars can help move this mission forward and reach those who need it most.
If you can’t donate right now, sharing this fundraiser is also incredibly helpful. Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity. It means the world to us.
