Grant Brewer’s Eagle Scout Project- Sign
Donation protected
My name is Grant Brewer, 17 year old recent graduate of Oakwood High School. I am a Life Scout with Troop 40. I have been a scout since Tiger Scout (1st grade). During my time in scouting I have attended summer camps, Philmont and Sea Base (both are high adventure camps).
To become an Eagle Scout, you must display leadership through a project that benefits the community. For my Eagle Scout Project, I am going to be rebuilding the Middlefork State Wildlife Area sign to the Ranger Station. The years and wind have not been good to this sign. The sign is barely able to be upright. They have put a steel post in to try to hold it up, but it is still falling down.
I will be building this sign to meet the new building guidelines set by the state for park signs.
