Hi my name is Ophelia, the Alzheimer’s foundation means a lot to me as my granny who I’m incredibly close with has dementia. She means everything to me and I remember so many incredible memories with her and I want to do this donation to show how much I care. It’s so hard to see her like this but it’s okay as I know that it’s sad but I reassure myself and my family to know that granny Sue is safe and well looked after by all of us and the care home and deep down she loves us all so so much . I’m changing my surname to have her name which is Susan Faulkner and my full name will be Ophelia Susan Faulkner. I’m doing a charity walk on October 5th to raise money to this specific charity and to support the Alzheimer’s society and to make my family happy. Granny Sue is my inspiration and I’ve looked up to her My whole life. I would be incredibly grateful if anyone can donate so I can donate whatever money I raise to go towards this charity but don’t worry if not. I will be doing a 5km walk and will be doing lots of training from now up until the day of the event.
