Grandma Julia housefire on her 106th birthday :(

Hello my name is Bonnie Koster. My dad is Tony Battese. I am a granddaughter of Julia DeWitt-Yellow Robe, the eldest member of the Lower Brule Kul Wicasa Oyate.

Yesterday on my grandma's 106th birthday, her house caught fire. Thankfully she was not home when the fire broke out.

The damage to the ceiling, roof, kitchen, and smoke damage was so severe that nothing can be saved. They also lost a loved pet George.

Grandma has lived a lot of life to be going through this painful event now, especially on her birthday.

If you can please find it in your heart to donate, we as her family would greatly appreciate it. I don't know how much she will need to begin again, but this is just the beginning of a long ordeal ahead.
